    From the makers of Raw just a few doors down, Terrakota is an upscale “bistronomy” concept, which means lots of fine dining flourishes on pan-European bistro fare. The simple and approachable menu — starters, mains, and desserts — belies a lot of creativity and ingenuity going on in the kitchen in re-imaginings of traditional bistro dishes with local and seasonal ingredients. And don’t miss out on the off-menu specials. A big draw is the dining space, which is a beautiful glass house chalet structure, ringed with greenery. A great wine list and cocktails round out the equation. Prices tilt towards the upper end of the spectrum, with a proper dinner for two running into the 1000rmb range. Keep it in mind for paydays and special occasions.
