Job Description
Assessment and Study Plan Development:
- Evaluate students' academic proficiency, English language skills, and overall aspirations.
- Analyze their personality traits and interests.
- Engage with parents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the child, their future aspirations for their child's education, and their overall study abroad strategy.
- Ultimately, tailor the selection of appropriate target schools that align with both parents' expectations and the child's capabilities.
- Devise a customized study plan aimed at guiding students toward achieving their goals.
Client Relationship Management:
- Provide guidance and inspiration to students to ensure their adherence to study plans.
- Arrange short-term tutoring sessions in the UK/China or US/China, tailored to their specific needs, and outline guidelines for tutors.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate students' advancement by maintaining communication with schools/tutors, and modifying study plans as deemed necessary.
- Maintain communication with students even while they are abroad to ensure sustained progress.
- Assist students in crafting personal statements.
- Assess students' progress by closely reviewing their work, offering feedback, and adjusting tutoring strategies when required.
Parent Communication:
- Keep parents updated on their children's progress.
- Clearly articulate your recommendations and study plans to parents.
- Gain insight into and address parents' expectations effectively.
- Assist in addressing parents' concerns, requirements, or issues once the child is abroad.
- Maintain open communication with parents about any concerns you may have and ensure their overall satisfaction.
School Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with international schools to monitor students' progress and address any concerns.
- Solicit regular reports from schools or guardians.
- Seek supplementary support and assistance as required from educational institutions.
- Foster strong relationships with schools, which holds lasting benefits for both SA and all premium clients.
- Strive to cultivate exclusive partnerships with schools.
Guidance and Support:
- Frequently, we accompany students and parents to the UK/US for interviews, tests, or school selection purposes.
- Our aim with students is to maintain their focus, positivity, and thorough interview preparation – conducting practice sessions between visits.
- For parents, our primary role involves translations and offering assistance in comprehending school operations, along with discussing their pros and cons.
Marketing Activities:
- Conducting informative presentations on a range of subjects for prospective clients.
- Crafting articles on schools, challenges encountered by clients/students, and more for our schools' guide and website.
- Composing narratives of students' success stories.
- Representing the company at events, dinners, and galas to which we're invited.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Offer English tutoring to students. Typically, this occurs during the initial phase when their workload is relatively light and there's available time.
- Conduct training sessions for new consultants, usually twice a year, covering specific aspects of the study abroad process.
