Get ready for festive classical concerts again at the Shanghai Centre Theatre (with limited discount tickets on sale now). On December 23, Tchaikovsky’s classics including The Nutcracker will be presented by Russia Tula Philharmonic Orchestra. And on December 24 the program will feature Johann Strauss Jr.’s works. Check out the program list for details. The Russia Tula Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the most high-profile young symphony orchestras in Russia. It was founded in 2017 with the strong support of the governor and government of the Tula region. The orchestra participates in the Brass-Days International Brass Art and Music Festival every year. And they cooperated with the Igor Butman Quintet for the first time in 2019, jointly showing the charm of music on the stage of the Zaryadye Concert Hall in Moscow.
